The team at AEPG was happy and proud to have completed a successful clothing drive in June, 2016. From our colleagues, clients, friends, and family we were able to donate gently used clothing and accessories for the Morris County Dress for Success non-profit organization.Through the generosity of all the above, we were able to donate over 90 items of clothing and 5 bags of accessories this year! I was impressed by the amount of people that on a weekly basis provide support and time to assist with sorting all the clothes received and prepare them for their clients. AEPG is supportive of the mission of Dress For Success to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and life. They provide each client with professional attire, programs to furnish confidence for each woman and lifelong solutions to break the cycle of poverty. For more information about Dress For Success, or to volunteer your time, please visit their website: https://morriscounty.dressforsuccess.org

AEPG was proud to be a sponsor for the 10th Annual Morris County Dress for Success Gala!
Stephanie Bowyer, Deb Ristau, Christine Lapidow and over 500 attendees enjoyed the wonderful ambiance at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ on April 21st. There were so many wonderful items for the fundraiser at the Silent Auction and the cocktail party had an array of appetizers and signature cocktails that were also a big hit.
During the dinner we heard a heartfelt testimony from one of the many women who has received assistance this year. After the speeches, the bidding began for the Live Auction. It was lovely evening and we were proud to be supporters of this great organization.
The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providinga network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and life. Their purpose is to offer long lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty. Although Dress for Success may provide each client with professional attire to secure employment, they are much more than simply a source for a new outfit. Besides physically equipping the client with apparel and accessories, they offer programs to furnish her with a confidence that she will carry forever and the knowledge that she can actively define her life, the direction she takes and what success means to her.

On October 22, 2015 Preschool Advantage had their annual Gala, Turning Leaves. This year was special in that it was the 20 year anniversary of this wonderful non-profit organization.Preschool Advantage funds quality preschool education in Morris County and surrounding communities for children of families in need.
Since 1995, Preschool Advantage has recognized the long-term impact that quality early childhood education has on the character of our community. Studies have demonstrated that early childhood education profoundly affects a child’s life: intellectual development, self-confidence, even future earning potential. Preschool Advantage helps to level the field for the not so fortunate when they enter kindergarten by providing preschool tuition.
The concept of Preschool Advantage is to launch a lifetime of learning for children in our communities whose families are devoted to their education and who want their children to have the best possible start, but who cannot afford the cost of a quality preschool.
Ray Hawkins, one of our CFP®s here at AEPG is the current Treasurer and 5 year board member. Helping these children get a better start is a passion. As a fiduciary, it is important to understand all good investments. Investing in our youth for a stronger community is a very good investment.

Sun Safety Certification Program
AEPG was one of several firms that supported the Enright Melanoma Foundation’s enhanced interactive-multimedia versions of their Enright Sun Safety Certification programs. These online programs, which will be available early next year, will be in three modules for Ages 5-8, Ages 9-12 and Ages 13+, with narration by Rachel Jordan, Miss NJ U.S. International (2013) and current Enright spokeswoman.
Recognizing the need for others less fortune, AEPG conducted a coat drive during the month of October 2014. Our staff reached into their closets to donate not only coats, but hats, sweaters, scarves and gloves which were donated to Elijah's Promise in New Brunswick, NJ. Our own Jeanie Carns was instrumental in coordinating this successful event as you can see evidence of in the photo below.

The Mission Continues is the only national nonprofit challenging post-9/11 veterans to rebuild a sense of purpose through community service. Many veterans struggle to find purpose at home without the structure, mission and camaraderie of a military unit. The Mission Continues does not offer charity; rather, we challenge returning service members to utilize their tremendous skills and leadership to continue serving our country at home. Through service, veterans find renewed strength and purpose while building stronger communities. Our mission is fueled by a deep belief that our veterans are assets and are poised to become the next greatest generation.
