The AEPG Difference: Promoting the skilled and ethical practice of financial planning and related disciplines.

The members of AEPG's professional staff maintain active memberships – including leadership positions – in a variety of professional societies in the financial planning, investment management, insurance, and other related disciplines. This helps to ensure that we are aware of the most current and important issues facing the financial planning and investment management industries and can provide well-informed, practical advice to our clients.

As fiduciaries and responsible advocates for our clients, we are also committed to promoting the growth, recognition, and skilled and ethical practice of the financial planning and investment management disciplines by participating in education, training, and certification initiatives through our professional memberships.

CFA Institute (formerly the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR))
CFA Institute is the global, not-for-profit association of investment professionals that awards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designations. The organization serves the professional needs of candidates, members, and other stakeholders around the world.

American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA)
ASPPA is a national organization of employee benefits professionals that exists to educate pension actuaries, consultants, administrators and other benefits professionals, and to preserve and enhance the private pension system as part of the development of a cohesive and coherent national retirement income policy. ASPPA is the only actuarial organization dedicated solely to the pension field. 

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board)
The CFP Board is a nonprofit professional regulatory organization that benefits and protects the public by establishing, maintaining, and enforcing education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements for the practice of financial planning. Individuals who meet these requirements are licensed to use the federally registered trademarks "CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional" and "CFP^® professional," and to display the CFP® certification mark.

Financial Planning Association of New Jersey (FPANJ)
FPANJ's mission is to educate the public on the benefits and value of the financial planning process through professionals who possess the highest level of competency and integrity, to champion the value of financial planning, to advance the financial planning profession, and to enhance the professional development of its members.

Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP)

For more than 80 years, the Society of Financial Service Professionals has been helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve financial security.With their strong commitment to delivering only those financial products and planning services that are in their clients' best interests, the Society's approximately 15,000 members nationwide are uniquely qualified to assist the public in reaching their future financial goals — today, tomorrow, and into the next millennium. Society members can provide consumers expert assistance with: estate, retirement and financial planning; employee benefits; business and compensation planning; and life, health, disability, and long-term care insurance. Society members have earned recognized professional credentials in the financial services industry, or are working towards attaining a professional credential.
