Investment Operations Manager
Heather is responsible for investment operations, client account processing, custodial liaison, and providing procedural and technical support to our investment management division. She gets to know all of our clients, and works closely with them as she onboards them and oversees all accounts. Heather’s favorite part of the job is interacting with clients, and they truly appreciate her upbeat, can-do attitude. “I figure out creative ways to find solutions for clients, and provide them with the highest quality of personalized service,” says Heather.
Another aspect of Heather’s job is continuously moving AEPG operations forward through the use of technology. She is always working on innovative ways to improve our processes, and to ensure that we are consistently ahead of what other planners are doing.
Heather says, “I’m comfortable with these situations, and I can help clients with more than just the numbers and paperwork.” Prior to joining AEPG, Heather held a variety of positions in the financial and executive staffing industry as well as the hospice, healthcare, retail, information technology, and marketing fields. Heather’s background in hospice makes her especially valuable in conversations. during life’s transitions including illnesses, loss of a parent, spouse, child or client and also divorces.
Heather has earned her associate’s degree and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in political science at Rutgers University. Her education has enabled her to think differently and more analytically, and she aspires to one day earn her MBA or CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification.
Heather is passionate about animal rescue. She and her husband share their home with three adopted cats and two adopted dogs. She sponsors Woodstock Animal Sanctuary and also sponsors a goose at Farm Sanctuary. Heather also enjoys hiking, birding and vegan cooking.
