Jeanie Carns

Jeanie Carns, LUTCF

Executive Assistant, Risk Management & Insurance

“I believe in families having appropriate coverage.  It’s all part of their financial life planning.”

Jeanie brings 30 years of experience in the risk management and insurance industry, including 15 plus years at AEPG.  She is responsible for all aspects of customer service for our annuities, life, disability, and long-term care service team – including tracking trust-owned life insurance notices, a service uniquely offered by AEPG. Jeanie works closely with the head of our Risk Management and Insurance team to develop insurance illustrations and interfaces with our CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals during the development of the insurance needs analysis.  She ensures the behind-the-scenes processes are working smoothly so our clients can be served most effectively.  

Jeanie particularly enjoys and excels at the customer service aspects of her position.  She loves her work and is passionate about helping people plan for the future.  “I like helping people, and I think everyone should have an appropriate amount of insurance,” says Jeanie.  

Prior to joining AEPG, Jeanie worked for more than 15 years with New England Financial, where she specialized in administration, project coordination, and the generation of insurance illustrations. She also supervised office staff and developed training programs for field reps and brokers on system hardware and software.

Jeanie is certified as a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF).  In her spare time, Jeanie enjoys hiking and going into New York City with her grandchildren.
